Introducing your 2025 Junior Miss El Campo, TX agHERculture - Bethany Zahn!
Bethany Kate Zahn is an energetic eight-year-old and proud third grader from El Campo, Texas. She is the daughter of Matt and Anna Zahn and has one older brother, Shane. Bethany adores her chickens, cows, and horses, and especially loves spending time with her golden retriever puppy, Sandy Mae.
Her family has been raising cattle for generations, and Bethany is proud to continue that legacy. She enjoys riding her horse, Thunder, and helping out on their family farm in the rural town of Egypt, Texas. One of her favorite things to do is work in the garden, where she grows potatoes, cucumbers, squash, zucchini, tomatoes, green beans, and a vibrant field of colorful zinnias.
Bethany has shown bottle calves at the Wharton County Youth Fair, and this year she’s excited to show a pen of three heifers. She truly loves the country life and is eager to share her passion for agriculture and the lessons she’s learned with others.
