Introducing your 2026 Miss Childress, TX agHERculture - Kodi Teague!
This is Kodi Lane Teague from Childress, Texas. She grew up on her dad’s ranch and has been riding horses and herding cattle since she learned to walk. She’s an active member of Childress county 4-H, the Childress FFA Chapter, where she is currently serving as chapter Secretary. She recently earned her FFA state degree, the Lonestar, and plans to pursue a career as an Environmental Attorney. With this title, she will continue to spread awareness for the declining health of our country’s environment and the impact of our actions on our farms, ranches, and rural areas. Her focus is to minimize negative impacts from data centers and energy development on the rural communities that so many of us call our homes. After living in several droughts, she is highly driven by her first-hand experience of how a lack of water is detrimental to our livestock and crops. This small town girl has a heart as big as Texas when our water, land, or homes are threatened.
