Introducing your 2025 Junior Miss Lindale, TX agHERculture - Miss Grace Dodd!
Howdy, this is Grace from Lindale, Texas! She lives with her parents and two sisters on over two acres, where they’ve embraced a homestead lifestyle for the past seven years. After moving from the Dallas/Fort Worth area to be closer to her dad’s unit during deployment, the family started raising goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits, and growing a garden to preserve food.
They soon named their home Triple D Homestead, offering livestock, canned goods, fresh produce, and baked items to their community. Active in the East Texas Homestead Co-op, the family has learned skills like goat soap making, sourdough bread, canning, herbal remedies, and chicken processing.
Grace found her second home in Lindale 4-H, joining as a Clover Bud in kindergarten three years ago. Her passion for agriculture, learning, and teaching others comes naturally. Now preparing to become a full 4-H member, Grace dreams of running for a club officer role, attending workshops, and competing in county, district, and state 4-H/FFA events. She’s excited to be a role model for other young kids, showing that anyone can make a difference in agriculture — no matter their age!
