From Kentucky, your 2025 Teen Miss Bluegrass, Sophia Cecil!

Sophia Cecil is a proud and dynamic middle school student who brings heart, heritage, and hard work to everything she does. From the heart of Boone County, Kentucky, she is the reigning 2024 Junior Miss Rodeo Kentucky, a title that reflects her dedication to agriculture, horsemanship, and the values of the Western lifestyle.

A committed member and officer of 4-H, Sophia is actively involved in the County 4-H Horse Club, Hobby Horse Club, Livestock Club, and leadership programs. This year, she’s taking on an exciting challenge by preparing to enter a country ham in both the Boone County and Kentucky State Fair—a true showcase of her agricultural skills and hands-on learning. She enjoys training her pony, Deep in The Pocket, and her mini horse, Midnight Rain. She’s also a barrel competitor, earning multiple Peewee Buckle Champion titles, showing determination and grit in and out of the arena.

Sophia’s talents don’t stop at the farm or fairgrounds. She shines in her school’s band, lends her voice to the choir, and pushes herself as a dedicated cross-country and track-and-field team member. Whether she’s hitting a high note, crossing a finish line, or leading a 4-H meeting, Sophia represents confidence, kindness, and commitment.

As Teen Miss Bluegrass agHERculture, Sophia hopes to inspire, educate, and advocate for other young women to explore their passions, embrace their roots, and lead with the purpose of teaching, building, and promoting women in agriculture. With her crown, she proudly represents the values of community, courage, and country pride.

Sophia is the little agHER sister to Elisha Cecil, Teen Miss Kentucky! Join the agHER sisterhood by registering at agherculture.com/register
