Introducing Miss Rockwall, TX agHERculture - Makenzie Starling!
Makenzie has been passionate about agriculture since she was little. Makenzie was an active member of FFA. She competed in LDEs and CDEs. She attended multiple state conventions, receiving her Lone Star Degree in 2024. She also achieved her feed yard certification. She was the Rockwall Chapter Secretary from 2022-2024. Makenzie showed goats during her time at Rockwall High School. She was dedicated and worked hard which led her to winning titles at the county show. In her free time, she volunteers at a Brangus cattle ranch getting hands on experience. Makenzie is currently attending community college at Collin College but will be transferring to West Texas A&M University in the spring of 2026. She plans on majoring in Agricultural Sciences with her 6-12 grades teachers certification. She hopes to become an Ag teacher and help kids find their passion in ag, just like her.
