Hailing from Illinois, your Teen Miss Prairie - Isabella Hood!
Isabella Alice Hood comes from a family of five with deep roots in agriculture. Her father's side has long been involved in farming, raising everything from cows and soybeans to broomcorn and corn. Isabella enjoys riding and driving all the farm equipment, and considers the farm one of the most beautiful places she visits.
Outside of the farm, Isabella enjoys playing volleyball, practicing archery, and occasionally playing basketball. She joined FFA as a freshman, inspired by her papa who was also a member, and quickly discovered how much she loves it.
Her mother’s family also has strong agricultural ties, with farms located in both Mexico and Illinois. Her grandfather’s farm was home to oranges, limes, pecans, and a variety of animals, while her great-grandmother’s family ran a restaurant—something Isabella credits for her grandmother’s delicious cooking.
Isabella is passionate about agriculture and believes in its importance. She hopes to become more involved in the industry so she can help educate others about farms and their vital role in feeding the world.
