Introducing your 2026 Teen Miss Minnesota agHERculture - Breckyn Horton-Schumann!
Breckyn Horton-Schumann will be a senior this fall at Plainview-Elgin-Millville High School. Her parents are Brian & Jerilyn Goihl, and she is from Lake City, MN. She shows Black Angus cattle on a county, state, and national level. She is the reigning 2024 Miss MN Angus Princess and the 2025 Miss MN Angus Queen.
Breckyn is highly active in her community and leadership roles, serving as the President of her 4-H Club, the Vice President of her 4-H County Board of Executives, and the President of her PEM FFA Chapter. She served as the Secretary for two years for the MN Angus Association and currently holds the role of the MN Angus Association Delegate. Additionally, she is a School Ambassador, a member of the National Honor Society, a MN State 4-H Animal Science Ambassador, and a MN State Fair bonus trip committee member. She is also a part of Immanuel Lutheran Church, where she volunteers with the youth group.
As a high honors student, Breckyn was recently awarded the MVP of the agricultural department at her school and was named the 2025 Olmsted County Premier Beef Showman in the region. Serving as an agricultural advocate through her extensive involvements has made a profoundly positive impact on her life. Through these experiences, she has met many outstanding people and established valuable networking connections that offer new opportunities for her future. She hopes to continue advocating for youth, supporting others in all of their agricultural accomplishments and achievements, and introducing people to the positive impact agriculture can have on their lives.
