Your Teen Miss California is Alissa Kuhr, a 13-year-old from Atwater, California, and the daughter of Jerod and Stefanie. She’s in the 8th grade and holds the positions of ASB Secretary and Vice President of Alview-Dairyland 4-H at her school. Coming from a long line of agricultural enthusiasts, Alissa proudly continues her family's legacy by raising and showing Pygmy and Boer goats, though she loves all animals. Apart from her agricultural endeavors, she is a tri-sport athlete, competing in volleyball, soccer, and track and field.
Her platform for her year of service focuses on "Youth in Agriculture - Cultivating the Future," with a special emphasis on farm safety. She aims to educate the public, especially children, about agriculture. Alissa is excited about her year of service and hopes to spread positivity in her community while teaching others about the agriculture industry.
