Introducing Kayleigh Ravenscroft your 2025 Miss Nebraska!
Kayleigh is the daughter of Kevin and Liz Ravenscroft and represents the fifth generation to live on the Ravenscroft Ranch. She currently attends Cody-Kilgore High School, where she is one of only twelve students in her graduating class. The small class size has given her the opportunity to be actively involved in volleyball, basketball, speech, FFA, track and cheerleading.Despite attending a small school, Kayleigh has never let that limit her success. She has been a varsity athlete in volleyball, basketball and track, earned multiple medals at speech meets, and has served as the president of her FFA chapter since the spring of her sophomore year. Even with her busy schedule, Kayleigh prioritizes her faith. She has strengthened her relationship with the Lord and successfully advocated for the formation of a youth group in her community. In addition, she enjoys baking and is known for sharing sweet treats to brighten someone’s day. There is nothing she loves more than putting a smile on someone’s face. Kayleigh will graduate from Cody-Kilgore High School in the spring of 2026. After graduation, she plans to attend Wayne State College to pursue pre-medical studies, then transfer to the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) to complete her doctorate in medicine, specializing in pediatrics.
Although the road ahead is long, Kayleigh remains undaunted. She embraces every opportunity to meet new people and become a better member of her community and country. Through this high honor, her goal is to put her small town on the map and advocate for rural areas that are often overlooked.
