Hailing from the Midwest, please help us welcome Miss Indiana, Kelsie Ludemann!

Kelsie Ludemann is the 19-year old daughter of Eric and Jessica Ludemann. She is a 2024 graduate of Huntington North High School in Northeastern Indiana where she earned both her Academic Honors and Technical Honors Diplomas. During high school, she also attended Heartland Career center in Wabash, IN where she took the Precision Agriculture Program. Throughout high school, she earned dual credit through three different universities including Vincennes University, where she currently attends, majoring in Agribusiness and Precision Agriculture.

Kelsie’s hands-on experience in the ag field is matched by her work ethic and adaptability. In 2024, she began interning at Forefront Ag Solutions, where she flies PHX fixed-wing drones, collects leaf tissue samples, and scouts fields; merging cutting-edge technology with traditional farming practices. She also holds her FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot’s license. In addition to her agricultural work, Kelsie is a brand representative for Wandering Maverick Boutique, where she helps promote and model western-inspired fashion.

Kelsie’s leadership journey has been shaped by her extensive involvement in FFA and 4-H. She has served as the Vice President of the Huntington North FFA Chapter, President of the Heartland FFA Chapter, and the 2023-2024 Indiana FFA District 6 Secretary. Her FFA honors include the Indiana State Degree, being named Chapter Top Junior and Top 5 Overall Member, participating on the crops team and leadership contests, and recently earned her American FFA Degree. She has also attended numerous leadership camps and conferences.

As a 10 year member of Huntington County 4-H, Kelsie has served as Secretary of the Huntington County Tractor Club and participated in Junior Leaders for 7 years. In 2024, she was chosen to represent Huntington County at the Indiana State Fair Queen Contest and received the Wayne Keller Leadership Award for her outstanding contributions.

Kelsie has played competitive tennis for 13 years, including being a varsity player. She served as the Youth Director for the Huntington County Farm Bureau Board (2022-2024) and currently serves as secretary for the Vincennes University ABT club and collegiate farm bureau. She is a life long member of Salamonie Church of the Brethren, where she was baptized in 2019. She was the 2024 Miss Warren and represented her small town at the Indiana State Festival Pageant.

As a strong believer in service, Kelsie has volunteered in countless community projects, including: maintaining the Huntington County Fairgrounds; Helping build a handicap-accessible trail ramps; serving food and drinks for local meal ministries; leading youth programs like the Budding Readers library initiative and youth tennis camp; sewing blankets for NICU babies and nursing homes; Volunteering with Vacation Bible School; and the Stock the Trailer Food Drive.

Through Miss Indiana agHERculture, she hopes to bridge the gap between urban and rural communities, promote youth involvement in agriculture, and lead with authenticity, compassion, and knowledge. Join Kelsie by registering at agherculture.com/register
