Help us welcome your 2025 Illinois Teen Miss agHERculture, Adison Oxford!

Adison Bret Oxford, who goes by Adi, is a bright and passionate 13-year-old from Hardin County, Illinois. Deeply connected to agriculture from a young age, Adi believes that empowering girls in agriculture is a vital goal—one she hopes to help achieve through the honor of holding a Miss agHERculture title. Adi’s love for animals has been nurtured by her supportive parents, Brett and Lizzy Oxford, who have always encouraged her agricultural interests. She has raised Nigerian Dwarf goats since the age of eight and delights in spending time with them, playing, and even teaching them tricks. She also cherishes riding horses with her dad and snuggling calves with her mom.

To Adi, agriculture is about more than animals and crops—it’s about learning responsibility, dedication, independence, and building a strong work ethic, especially for young girls like herself. These values are at the heart of everything she does, both on and off the farm. When she's not tending to her family's small farm, Adi enjoys a wide range of activities including musical theater, Bible studies, cheerleading, softball, and reading. She is proud to be a big sister to her older and younger brothers and enjoys spending time with her family, including their four dogs and a cat.

Adi is also an accomplished creative. She has been recognized as a winner in the Illinois Treasurer’s Cream of the Crop photo contest, and took first place in the Southern Illinois Reading Council Short Story Contest. One of her proudest achievements is on the horizon: she has been selected to serve as one of two Marshals for her 7th-grade class at graduation. With her strong passion for agriculture, leadership, and creativity, Adi is eager to contribute to the growth and impact of the Miss agHERculture crown and title, and to inspire other young girls to find their place in agriculture.
