Missouri Teen, Vivian Jones crowned Teen Miss Missouri agHERculture! Vivian Jones is a 15-year-old from Taney County, Missouri. She is the daughter of Jill and David Jones and the proud older sister of Virginia and Violet Jones. Vivian is an active member of her FFA chapter in Weston, Missouri, where she currently serves as the chapter reporter. Her passions span across agriculture, pageantry, and cheerleading. Though only a freshman in high school, Vivian has big ambitions to grow her agricultural education and become a stronger leader for younger generations. Her goal is to earn her FFA degrees each year through hard work and dedication. Vivian’s journey in agriculture began overseas in the Netherlands, where she was raised as a foreign service child. It was there she first fell in love with agriculture while volunteering on local dairy farms. Since returning to her home state of Missouri, her passion has only deepened. With years of experience in crop management, animal care, and educating youth about agriculture, Vivian has found her calling in agricultural communications. Her Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) will continue to grow throughout her high school years. In the spring of 2025, she competed in poultry evaluation contests with her FFA team, ultimately qualifying for the Missouri State Convention. As a titleholder, Vivian is launching her platform, “AG on Air,” an agricultural communications initiative aimed at promoting local farmers, uplifting youth in agriculture, and educating the public about current issues in the agricultural world. With projections showing a steady decline in the number of American farmers over the next 30 years, Vivian is committed to inspiring the next generation to engage with and preserve the heartland of America—its farmers.
