From the Bluegrass State, your 2025 Teen Miss Kentucky agHERculture, Elisha Cecil!
Elisha Cecil is a high school freshman with a deep passion for agriculture, community service, and leadership. She is the 2025 First Runner Up Jr. Miss Rodeo Kentucky. While Elisha enjoys playing on her school’s golf and basketball teams, her heart truly lies in the barn with her two horses, Lazzam and Midnight Rain. Riding and caring for them has been a part of her life since childhood, teaching her responsibility, patience, and dedication—qualities that are essential in both agriculture and life. Agriculture isn’t just a lifestyle for Elisha; it’s a passion that has helped shape who she is. The bond she shares with her horses and the care she puts into their well-being reflect her long-term commitment to animal husbandry and rural life. Competing with her horse Lazzam is one of her biggest goals, and it pushes her to work hard and manage her time effectively. One of the qualities Elisha values most is kindness. She believes in always choosing compassion and empathy, and strives to treat others the way she would want to be treated. Faith is another pillar in her life—her relationship with God gives her strength and purpose. Elisha also prides herself on being helpful, loving giving back to others, and finds volunteering to be one of her favorite things to do. There is nothing more rewarding than making someone smile, especially someone who might be going through a hard time. Academically, Elisha works hard and strives to maintain good grades. Her ultimate dream is to become a behavioral analyst for the FBI, proving that she believes in setting big goals and working hard to achieve them. At the same time, she’ll never stop riding horses or staying connected to the agricultural world that has shaped her. Being part of Miss Teen AgHerculture would give Elisha the opportunity to share her love for agriculture, inspire others, and grow as a young leader. She is ready to represent the values of this program with heart, humility, and hard work.
